Tootopia 2015
We Salute You Tooting!
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came, supported and conquered Tootopia. We have been overwhelmed with the support of the Tooting community and really hope you enjoyed the festival as much as we did!
A special mention must go to the 20 pubs, bars, café and restaurants who took part; Graveney & Meadow, Tooting Tram, Antelope, The Selkirk, The Castle, The Imperial Durbar, Pedal Back Café, Tooting Market, Coffee Co. Tooting, The Little Taperia, The Wheatsheaf, Mud, Lahore Karahi, Honest Burgers, Meza, The Little Bar, Unwined, Breakfast & Burgers, Get Juiced and Grubs, as well as the fantastic street food traders who pitched up at the Street Food Take-Over. Without all of their hard work and innovation, Tootopia would not have been possible.
We look forward to seeing you again next year for an even bigger and better Tootopia 2016!
Tootsmas 2015
Saturday 12th and 13th December 2015 saw Graveney & Meadow, Tooting turned into a fantastically festive destination with crafty traders, street-food, DJ’s, a brass band and art classes for our first-ever winter extravaganza, Tootsmas.
The team would like to say a huge thank you to the Tooting community for welcoming us with open arms for the second time since our Tootopia festival this summer. Special mentions go to the seriously tasty street-food vendors who descended upon the Graveney garden to serve up some of the tastiest street food in London; Antic Chef’s Pop-up, Bill or Beak, Brotisserie, Bun Kabab, High Steaks, Le Bao, Le Rack Shack, Oh My Dog!, Poptata, South East Cakery and Sub Cult. Additionally we would like to extend our gratitude to our DJ’s and brilliant brass band Brasstermind as well as the talented crafters who added their handcrafted magic to the event; Charlotte, Koco Kids, Pheobe Higginson, Paresha Raj Designs, Playagain, Postcode Prints and Rosie Gainsborough. Thank you Love Art who stayed to provide art workshops for children and adults across the weekend.
Without the dedication, support (and talent!) of the aforementioned Tootsmas could not have been what it was!
Team Tootopia would also like to thank the visitors – young and old – who braved the cold to visit and enjoy the weekend. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Until next year, we wish you a very Merry Tootsmas and a Happy New Year!
